Illo’s Dunni Mustapha was approached by the National Portrait Gallery to create some great art for their fantastic Hospital’s Programme.
The Hospitals’ Programme shares the Gallery’s Collection with children, young people, and their families in London hospitals. As part of the programme, they recently launched a brand new activity book, Champions of the World, which is being shared with hospitals across London and is also available to download online.
Dunni Mustapha brought this book to life with her digital artwork, illustrating 12 inspirational people from the world of sports and entertainment. Each featured portrait in the Collection is accompanied by a creative activity, inspired by the stories behind the stars. You’ll find the likes of Marcus Rashford (Dunni’s favourite as her first portrait to do!), Tom Daley, Alex Scott, Ed Sheeran, and Baroness Tanni Grey- Thompson to name a few.
