CWLA Author, Sally Anne Garland, in The Guardian’s Best Picture Books Review

Published on 09/06/2023

We are excited to share that Caroline Wakeman Literary Agency author, Sally Anne Garland’s recently published book, The Chalk Garden, has been featured in The Guardian’s monthly “Children’s and Teens roundup – the best new picture books and novels” review!

Not only was The Chalk Garden first on the list, but Sally’s beautiful illustration was also used as the feature image for the article.

The Guardian calls The Chalk Garden “A lush, joyful picture book, full of growth, colour and creativity.”

This book very much deserves to be featured in this review, and we are thrilled for Sally.
