New Signed Artist: Barbara Tamilin

Published on 06/07/2019

Bárbara Tamilin is a brazilian illustrator and graphic designer born in a seaside town in Southeastern of Brazil. After moving to the South, she studied Graphic Design at Federal Technological University of Paraná. She loves to illustrate common situations of everyday women, be they sad or happy, with cute and romanticized atmosphere around, being totally inspired by the women’s routine around her. Bárbara can’t live without pink and saturated colours, botanical elements and a lot of patterns. She loves to put her art together with things she believe in, such as feminism and political militancy. As a personal inspiration, Barbara has her mother who for years was a painting teacher. With tons of oil paint at home, it was difficult not to develop passion with drawings. For her, to illustrate means a great process of self knowledge, beauty and patience. Bárbara works listening to her favourite playlist, a great mix of pop, folk and indie music. Every half hour, she takes a little break to watch some silly video!

“Working with the ITSME team was an easy and warm process from the beginning to the end! The signing process occurred quickly and always clearly, without any doubt in mind. I am very happy to have ITSME as a partner in this new journey with my amazing agency.”
