“The World at your Feet” Written by Karl Newson, illustrated by Clara Anganuzzi

Published on 03/11/2021

Originally from the Seychelles, Clara Anganuzzi studied Illustration at Falmouth University in the UK before completing an MA in Children’s Illustration at the prestigious Cambridge School of Art. We have great admiration for Clara and her creativity, especially how her beautiful illustrations create such a sense of place in limited colour palettes…

Which is why she was commissioned by the lovely folk at Studio Press to work on a new title by Karl Newson titled; The World at your Feet. Having previously worked with Karl on his previous title called, ‘How To Mend A Friend’ this is sure to be another hit! Here’s a little about the book below…

This beautiful and uplifting picture book empowers children to explore a world of possibilities. Join a child and a host of animal friends as they explore new possibilities and discover that it’s okay to try things and not to know how they will turn out. This empowering story encourages young readers to realise their potential and reassures them that it is alright not to always succeed or to have all the answers – nobody does. The important thing is to try your best and be yourself.

Karl Newson’s lyrical new picture book has been described by Book Depositary as the Oh, The Places for You’ll Go! for the new generation.
