We are looking for an individual to join our team as our Trainee Illustration Agent joining a team of 60 across the UK, US, Spain and Singapore.

We offer a comprehensive training package which covers sales training, artist briefing and development, project management, and creative trend awareness. You will be using all of those skills and more as an Advocate Agent! If you have experience in Publishing or sales we can offer an increased package.

This role is fully remote – which means you can work from home, or anywhere, but we are looking for an individual based in the UK. Currently, we have base offices within the UK, US, Spain and Singapore where our teams meet casually.

An Illustration Agent is the middle person between illustrators and clients so you work with the Advocate artists to develop & create marketable / saleable work, make the connection between artist and client, and ensure everything works out during the project. There is an existing group of clients that you will look after following training, and there is a degree of new business development. In a nutshell, it’s a creative sales role.

The Trainee Illustration Agent’s starting salary is £30K+ with OTE £45K+ depending on experience and after training.

We offer full training in a casual virtual environment. Expenses are paid to travel – World Wide, New York, Italy etc. or if you need a face-to-face meet up. Working hours for this position is Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., but you have flexibility since you are no longer expected to report to a physical office.

Interviews will be held on Skype on an ongoing basis.

Desired Skills and Experience

Candidates who meet the following requirements should apply:

Fluent speaking in English.

An interest in art and illustration that extends to formal education.

Creative – a good eye.

Good communicator, able to rebut, sell, empathise and negotiate.

Multi-task individually or as part of a team.

Be comfortable traveling alone and possibly over multiple weekends.

Mac and social media savvy.

Organised to a diagnosable level.
