Advocate Art’s Atlanta Japp’s Most Memorable Projects of 2022

Last year was a wonderful year for our agencies! They worked on so many fantastic projects, from books to clothing, to tarot cards, and more. As we look ahead to 2023, we wanted to wrap up 2022 with some of the agency’s most memorable projects. It’s not easy narrowing it down, but here are Advocate Art’s West Cost Manager, Atlanta Japp’s most memorable projects of 2022.

1. The Juneteenth Story

Illustrator: Sawyer Cloud

“This project was special to me as it highlighted the importance of celebrating Juneteenth and all that the Holiday stands for.”

2. FGTEEV The Switcheroo Rescue

Illustrator: Miguel Diaz Rivas

Publisher: HarperCollins Publishing

“This title is the third book in the series, so I have really enjoyed working with Miguel on it because we get to see how the story and characters grow together.”

3. STOMP!

Illustrator: Baptiste Amsallem

Publisher: Simon and Schuster

“Stomp was one of my favorite projects as it takes place in my hometown, NYC. I loved getting to see all the best parts of the city illustrated and animated in all of its glory.”

4. How To Love A Pony 

Illustrator: Sawyer Cloud 

Publisher: Penguin Random House

“I enjoyed working with Sawyer on this project because I am an animal lover. I believe children everywhere will relate to this story and encourage their love for animals.”

5. Squeaky Bat

Illustrator: Lucy Barnard

Publisher: Silver Dolphin

“This project was a blast to work on because Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love all things spooky. The cute Bat was just an added bonus!”
