Last year was a wonderful year for our agencies! They worked on so many fantastic projects, from books to clothing, to tarot cards, and more. As we look ahead to 2023, we wanted to wrap up 2022 with some of the agency’s most memorable projects. It’s not easy narrowing it down, but here are Advocate Art agent Marion Von Elling’s five most memorable projects from 2022.
Illustrator: Marc Pattenden
Publisher: Magellan
“An incredibly atmospheric book about nature. Marc Pattenden at his best and every page an experience in a different habitat of nature.”
2. Serie: Natur Wimmelbücher
Illustrator: Lucy Barnard
Publisher: Thienemann/ Esslinger
“Lucy Barnard has illustrated a series of 4 magical hidden object books about animals in nature for the little ones in 2022 – each page a little voyage of discovery and because each of these books has gone down so great with parents and children, the next one is already in the works…. I can’t wait to see them”
3. Kid’s fashion illustrations for collection 2022
Illustrators: Hannah Abbo, Kathryn Selbert, Teresa Bellon
Client: HABA Family Group
“It was great fun to embellish the fashion for the little ones up to the teenagers with funny illustrations.”
4. Frühlingsblüher – Grußkarten
Illustrator: Rachel Mcnaughton
Publisher: Unicef Germany
“It is a pleasure to implement the ideas of the Unicef team and help them make the world a little better.”
Illustrator: Estelle Corke
Publisher: Coppenrath Verlag
“The musical picture book was a project that was particularly close to my heart, as it invites children to visit the opera and learn about classical music. The age-appropriate narratives culminate in the joyful illustrations by Estelle Corke.”
