Alisha Monnin

Published on 21/03/2022

Alisha Monninwas born and raised in rural Ohio in a small village where distance is measured by cornfields. While going through her school days, she read anything she could get her hands on and daydreamed about going on magical adventures. She still spends her days daydreaming and reading, but now her imagination is funneled into her artwork. Often described as nostalgic and warm, her work invokes realism with a humanistic heart. She hopes to touch the lives of young people with her art and spread happiness to those who are looking for it.Alisha graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration before moving slightly north and slightly more west to Atlanta, Georgia to become a graphic designer. When she’s not working, she can be found playing with her tailless cat named Beignet, hunting for the best cup of tea in town, and waving hello to other people’s dogs.
