Last year was a wonderful year for our agencies! They worked on so many fantastic projects, from books to clothing, to tarot cards, and more. As we look ahead to 2023, we wanted to wrap up 2022 with some of the agency’s most memorable projects. It’s not easy narrowing it down, but here are Astound’s Tina Doffing’s most notable projects from 2022.
1. It’s Her Story: Rosalind Franklin illustrated by Samantha F. Chow
Publisher: Sunbird Books
“This was Samantha’s first project and she blew the team away with her beautiful illustrations!”
2. ACBs of Inclusion illustrated by Anastasiya Kanavaliuk
“This was Anastasiya’s first project and it has such a touching message. Her illustrations helped the book raise over 65k on Kickstarter, and the book is currently in production!”
3. Fire Shapes the World illustrated by Diana Renzina
“This is an amazing title about wildfires in the US, published by Yosemite Conservancy. It is currently in pre-sales!”
4. Abby in Orbit Series: Books 1-3 illustrated by Fuuji Takashi
Publisher: Albert Whitman
“Fuuji has done picture books in the past, but these two titles were her first middle grade chapter books. It was so much fun to work with her and the team on these titles.”
