New Signed Artist: Nichola Cowdery

Published on 21/03/2022

From a young age Nichola kept herself busy constantly drawing and creating. Much to her parents dismay there wasn’t a surface in the house that Nichola didn’t like to draw on. She went on to study Graphic Design at Southampton University. Originally from Wales but now living in London with her family and two cats Nichola works as a full-time illustrator.

Before turning to illustration Nichola was a Graphic Designer in children’s publishing. She worked her way up from Junior Designer to Art Editor.  A job she truly loved for its fast pace, bursting with creativity and most importantly fun! Nichola loves to push herself creatively. Discovering new techniques, technology and art courses, her favourite being ‘Make Art That Sells’

Sitting at home sketching away, creating quirky, funny and cute illustrations is what makes Nichola truly happy. She pinches herself everyday knowing she is doing something she loves.
