We are pleased to share some wonderful news for Astound Us artist Khoa Le! “Sugar in Milk” illustrated by Khoa Le ( Running Press Kids) has won the Anne Izard Storytellers’ Choice Award!
The prestigious Anne Izard Storytellers’ Choice Award seeks to highlight and promote distinguished titles published in the field of storytelling. The was established to honour Anne Izard, the noted librarian, storyteller and Children’s Services Consultant in Westchester County (NY) who died in 1990.
Written by the award-winning Thrity Umrigar and illustrated by Astound’s very own superstar Khoa Le, we can see why the stunning “Sugar in Milk” has achieved so much success. Khoa’s gorgeous folk tale style perfectly compliments Thrity’s poetic storytelling. A huge congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this stunning picture book!
