Last year was a wonderful year for our agencies! They worked on so many fantastic projects, from books to clothing, to tarot cards, and more. As we look ahead to 2023, we wanted to wrap up 2022 with some of the agency’s most memorable projects. It’s not easy narrowing it down, but here are Advocate Art agent, Erin Tisdel’s most memorable projects of 2022.
Illustrator: Nathalia Rivera
Publisher: DaySpring
“This book is Nathalia’s first published work, and it is beautiful!”
Illustrator: Alejandra Barajas
Publisher: Beaming Books
“It is great to see a children’s book with a non-binary main character, I felt it was an important project, and I am so happy I got to be a part of it.”
3. Search for the Astral Dragon
Illustrator: Laura Tolton
Publisher: Tyndale
“It was so great to work on a YA cover like this. I hope to do more projects like this in the future!”

Illustrators: Arief Putra, Antonella Fant, Fabiana Faiallo, and Cesar Samaniego

5. Black Swans

“This was an amazing non-fiction story about six Black dancers breaking into ballet! It was also a pleasure to work with Sawyer, who is one of my closest illustrators, who has many more exciting projects coming soon!”

And Alegria, (Spanish for ‘Joy’); first developed…
