We recently wrapped up the first session of our Illustration Mentorship Program! Did you know that our mentorships often culminate in real agency offers? Our mentors are always looking for great talent for their agency, and this is a great chance to get to know artists one on one in their bespoke coaching sessions.
We are thrilled to announce that our debut program concluded with multiple artists being offered representation with our various agencies! Who are these newly signed illustrators?!
Fran Ceserano is now represented by Astound US Inc!
And
Francesca Cosanti, Sara Padovan, and Alysha Dawn are now represented by Illo Agency!
Fran went through our children’s book mentorship, which covers illustration for anything from board books to chapter books, while Francesa, Sara, and Alysha went through our editorial and advertising mentorship program.
Our 12-week program has artists working directly with one of our illustration agents to develop new portfolio pieces. We pick the agent that is the best match for developing your specific work to be your mentor. It is a highly curated and bespoke experience designed to take your work to the next level!
This process mimics what it is like working with clients, going from briefings to final artwork, with feedback and revisions in between. We have multiple mentorships to cover a wide range of industries from children’s books, advertising, and editorial, to greeting cards.
We are thrilled that so many artists were able to be signed after this first session!
We are currently in the middle of our second session of mentorships and cannot wait to share what these artists are working on! Our third Illustration Mentorship will start in November! If you are interested in learning more, please email us at learning@itsmegroup.com.
