The ITSme Society was formed around our Positive E.F.E.C.T.S. charter – yes, we know we are missing an F! This charter was created to advance the environmental, financial, ethical, collaborative, training, and social standards of our agencies. Advancing the environmental standards of ITSme and our agencies means a lot to us.
All of the ITSme society agencies strive to meet the highest environmental standards possible. We do this by seeking to preserve resources, minimize or negate environmental impact, and protect against damage.
We work to promote positive sustainability in all practices and engage in conservation and preservation efforts. We hold these standards for our agencies and clients by not entering into commercial relationships with single-use or non-recyclable brands or items wherever possible.
In our efforts to promote sustainability, we reduce our carbon footprint by reducing travel as much as possible, including remote working and virtual meetings rather than in person. In addition, we mainly offer virtual gifts, rather than printed ones, or offer reusable options such as tote bags, and water bottles.
We also try to minimize our environmental impact by reducing printing, and when needed, using materials such as seed paper and bamboo in our printing materials.
We take our environmental impact seriously and work to prevent damage with every business decision.
We look forward to sharing more about our Positive E.F.E.C.T.S. charter with you in this new blog series.
